The Penny 2010-1960

Made to the music of Patti Smith. Facilitated by early childhood hoarding.

Relief print on paper. 18 Years worth of pennies were collected and sorted by decade. 2% of the overall pennies from each pile/decade were glued in order by decade to a copper plate and then printed.

After a bit of searching and through the generosity of Johanna and Leslie Garfield, Driveway has found it’s new home in the collection of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Driveway will be on display in Recent Gifts to the Collection at PAAM, from October 29, 2010–January 16, 2011.
